Premium Ideas Nigeria exhibited at West and Central AfricaCom conference and exhibition. The event was scheduled for the 18th and 19th of June at the Abuja International Conference Centre. With a range of staff from our Lagos factory, including production personnel, on hand to explain the range of products and services, the event presented an opportunity to highlight some new developments in the company – particularly the new range of scratch cards to be locally produced in Nigeria.
 
This was another successful event for Premium Ideas. A lot of meaningful relations were established and strengthened with customers, partners and suppliers. We look forward to continuing these relations as we continue to service the Nigeria market. We also thank all who visited our stand and took interest in our business.

Premium Ideas will be participating in the GSM>3G AfricaCom Conference at the Cape Town Convention Centre on November 21st and 22nd. You are welcome to visit us at our booth (B9a) to get a first hand introduction and demonstration of our products and services. We will also be arranging several guided tours of our two Cape Town production facilities.

Premium Ideas Chief Operations Officer, Denis Lundie will be presenting the topic Getting Noticed, Focused and Connected: Optimising Brand Impact and Customer Experience in the Packaging and Distribution Channels. AltX-listed Morvest Business Solutions Group, a black empowered business solutions group in the ICT sector, has acquired 91.2% of Premium Ideas. Premium Ideas, a packaging and smart card personalisation business, has operations in SA and Nigeria. Morvest Business Solutions Group says Premium offers it an opportunity to exploit synergy with subsidiaries Motoma-Mithratech and Spec Systems. These divisions manufacture scratch cards, and procure and personalise smart cards. Mohammed Varachia, Morvest Business Solutions Group CEO, explains: “The acquisition enables the group to capture more of the smart and scratch card value chain in-house.

The company is expected to soon release its annual financial results for the year to May 2007.
